01.lászló moholy-nagy
after studying law in budapest, lászló moholy-nagy took interest in photography and painting after world war one. he blended the two medias while associating with the dadaists and constructivists while in vienna and berlin. he developed images that he called “photograms,” non-objective works made from a subject without a camera. moholy-nagy joined the bauhaus under gropius in 1925, and provided the building blocks for the new photographer’s movement.
